I'm really looking to get an amp for my ipod that i can couple with my Atrios and that i can couple with the closed pair of headphones i will HOPEFULLY soon be purchasing (I'm thinking Beyer DT770-80s).
I dont wanna spend too much either because its only a portable amp....rather same some money for headphones or speakers. So i'm basically thinking i wanna spend around 100-150 so my ONLY?? options seem to be the ibasso D2 and the Nuforce Mobile Icon. The Nuforce MI is easy for me to get as opposed to the ibasso, so I'm leaning more toward Nuforce altho something tells me the ibasso is a better quality amp.
Will i get a big difference in sound with either of these amps? And is it worth waiting to get a good deal on a 2nd hand ibasso, or just pull the trigger on the mobile ICON?
