Does anyone have experience with both of these, or at least the MiniBox D (Head-Direct), and can comment on what you like/dislike about each?

Both are $100 and I'm looking at these 2 to go with my Zune and Fuze to drive my RE0 & MS-1i a bit more than the E5.

i am using T4 hooked between a JVC v80 and Denon 1001

T4 is a great little amp, only as the size of a zippo.

u have gain and bass option. when u activate the bass option, the soundstage suddenly widens. and if you have a bass rich dap or song, it will even provide deeper and shock bass.
but if the song or dap is somewhat bass lack in the first place, it doesn't help that such but still noticeable with widened soundstage. but the mid get's a bit blur when the bass is on,everything looses some clarity.

not too much say about gain, not bad though.

i am thinking whether i should sell my T4 even i only have it for less than a week.

i found somehow when playing APE classcial music, i had to both max volume my dap and T4 to get decent volume to listen to, but when playing other 320K pop mp3s, i only had to tune T4 less than half way with max volume on DAP and dat is loud enough for me.
