Nice to see they replied to someones e-mail, they seem to have ignored mine completely.

If the sound is indeed very much improved, then it looks like a great little package.

I have known about the T for a while but then I make inquiries periodically.

The Heron is more of a serious full amp whereas I think that the T4 is for minimalists who value portability and small size over good sound.

Still it is too early to make comparisons in terms of sound between the two.

The T4 will apparently have bass boost, a gain switch, and be a 4ch design.

Not sure i like the bass boost in there, but the other features sound good.

Have u noticed a big problem with Bass Boost?

when on zero level..they Cut/Reduce the bass.... very bad,

and when turned up..they put emphasis in an unnatural way..

u start feeling confused coz u never know whats the actual Studio Mastered Bass level...its hard to figure out with a Knob.

why would anyone want unreal bass for their music?

i experienced this in GoVibe Magnum... Isnt that Bass Boost feature a curse?

Well you can always leave it off I suppose.

Seems like they've omitted the 2nd headphone jack that was on the original T1 and T2. Both input and output jacks are on the same side. Thank you, iBasso!!!!

Awesome! While I did use the splitter on the previous versions sometimes, I would much rather have the input and output on the same side. Good job iBasso!

Not always bad. The Graham Slee Voyager has a bass boost in the form of its "contour" switch that sounds surprisingly natural; doesnt sacrifice anything else or wreck the overall sound.

I have emailed with them and it is felt that this will be a very good step up in sound quality. I hope so.
