As far as orders, Penon delivers all over the world, they ship very quickly and Hong Kong post is very fast. It took about 5 days for the package to reach my country, but it was unfortunately held by customs and I was taxed about $35 for a $110 purchase :frowning2: I guess just keep that in mind if your country has import taxes for online purchases.

I'm still burning these bad boys in, I've been doing it since Monday with a few hour breaks in between so I'd imagine I'm somewhere at the 60 hour mark at this point. I suppose I'll let them burn in over the weekend as well, and then give a listen.

Also, as far as the difference between Western and Eastern Europe, the main difference is European Union and outside of European Union. Most will ship to any EU country, but once you go outside the EU, that's where it gets interesting.

Maybe a slim chance but has anyone with the IT01 also used the Tennmak Pro or something with an extremely similar shape? Shure SE215 perhaps? I'm wondering how the fit compares.

I've got a Shure SE425. The IT01 is a lot bulkier, and it has that pseudo-custom hook-shaped part, but it's still lightweight and the bulge is mild and should fit most ears without difficulty.

Which country would that be?

Does anyone have measurements of the frequency response for the it01? I thought I saw a graph by someone on reddit but can't seem to find it anymore. Thanks
nmathies posted it on page 12 along with some other IT01 porn. I think that graph looks pretty accurate to me, while not a traditional reference flat signature the IT01s even out quite a bit after a few weeks of normal listening. To my ears they become a musical spacious dynamic highly detailed and out of your head very enjoyable listening experience. They also respond extremely well to EQing if needed, they are like a thick blank canvas waiting for the sonic signature of your DAP or phone to sing through.

Piling on more pics. Graciously randomized by the Headfi uploader

It's amazing how easy it is to go from the E-MU Teak to the IT01. Separated at birth, those two...

Dual vent holes...interesting.

The one under nozzle is a front vent, but the other one must be a back vent which has an interesting placement, probably to isolate better but also has a lot of potential to be blocked by ear. Interesting placement, kinda exact opposite of Sennheiser ie800 whose front and back vents are both located on the back.

I tried these on after going through an approx 100 hour burn-in, I will spend some more time with them to formulate a solid opinion since i've flip-flopped on them several times during the day. I'll just say that, for me, they've been VERY tip-dependent in terms of sound, while isolation is very similar even between silicone and foam tips.
