Some recent DAPs like the Cayin N8ii and iBasso DX320 have used ROHM DACs. They sound really good!

A device with only 128gb of internal storage is ridiculous and especially at that price point. Pass.

There isn't a single device out there that should not have had at least 512Gb internal storage for the price they are asking, save perhaps the segment < €500 .. Storage is that cheap nowadays ...

Still, micro SD cards are getting way cheaper and cheaper so even a 1 TB Extreme Micro SD card is relatively affordable these days. Storage should'nt be a huge issue nowadays unless you are using upscaled music files or have an enormous DSD collection.

Totally agree with this. Micro card solves that quite easily. I only stream anyways so the storage thing is not a deal breaker for me personally.

Also when I hear so many people have these massive libraries, I realize I listen to so little music variety as my music is always the current rotating 50 or so. Lol.

If only it had global parametric eq built in or at least a global graphic eq. I enjoy the 300MAX but end up not using it as much because of its lack of eq. Currently looking at A&K daps because they actually offer global parametric eq.

these rohm chips are used in the top of the line luxman d-10x cd/sacd player. this player is an outstanding sounding unit! that sounds like a great turntable(analog sound)
to my ears....
i prefer the rohm chip sound,to that of ess sabre & ak chips
