Ok, now I believe that those differences between Ultimate mode, normal mode and filters are just another bug. 😪
Hear me out here.
Here are my findings:
When you switch from normal to Ultimate you lose some amount of clarity. But, and here comes the strange part: except for the D5 filter. If I have this one chosen (and this one only) I hear no difference while switching between normal and Ultimate.
So I can easily tell apart D5 from any other filter while having Ultimate on.
This applies to Mango app and os as well as other apps I tried.
Funnily enough Neutron is the exception but only in oversampling mode. How about that?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I have no need to upgrade to Android 11 because I don't see a single reason to...

The current issue I dislike about Android 11 is the new folders access and securities whatever. You have to create a main root folder “music” and then drop other sub folders into it, otherwise other programs can not scan it. Only Mango app and MangoOS still able to scan without the Music folder

On the other hand, I can't wait to upgrade my DX300 to Android 11.

For me, the DX300 MAX is perfect as is, no need to change anything about it.

Here is a new firmware for the DX300MAX. Enjoy. The change log and instructions are in the download once opened from the zip file.

The OTA is to be used on an SD card.

This is the DX300MAX OTA update.

This is the DX300MAX V2.02 firmware image.
What do you mean by "the OTA is to be used on an SD card"? I thought OTA is automatic via the device's updater.

Don’t panic, you can bring it to a local smartphone repair techie and ask him to kindly open it up from the back to see if there may be anything wrong with it.

Is anyone else having issues with screen rotation after the latest updates? Mine won't rotate 180 in portrait mode.
I have done a factory reset to no avail and can get it to work using Rotation Control app - just wondering if I am doing something wrong/stupid.

It seems the auto rotation issue is still there on the FW2.02.

When the auto rotation is on,
- FW1.03: I could rotate the home screen and Mango Player to the reversed portrait orientation.
- FW2.01/2.02: the orientation can not be changed on both the home screen and Mango Player.

I reported to Paul. (waiting for reply)

We will correct this in an upcoming firmware.

Experiencing heavy battery drain and unresponsive freezing with FW 2.01. Also to my ears the sound has changed a bit, not as dynamic as it was before.
Does FW 2.02 update fix the sound and battery drain? was fine before the 2.0.1 update.
I also can no longer rotate the screen.
