Your math is correct, but that doesn't mean the amp can supply the current for lower resistance loads. It's very likely current limited. I doubt it can supply much more than 500 mW at 32 ohms. Maybe iBasso can chime in with actual specifications.
Right, high current/low impedance is usually the issue with portable products, but it's hard to tell exactly what you're getting from the provided specs.

Does this do Android src bypass for bit prefect playback?
IBasso was the first to enable bit perfect with Android. They did it over 10 years ago. No one else had done it before.

Do all DAPs with Android allow apps to be downloaded? I'm wondering if I can use a 3rd party PEQ on any DAP with Android. I think I read that DX160 did have PEQ or did I get it wrong?

Most of the Android based DAPs allow you to install virtually any Android app. There are some using a restricted or locked down version of Android that only support select apps (like Astell&Kern), but you can install anything on any of the newer iBasso players. The iBasso players do have parametric and graphic EQs built into the stock player app, but you would also be able to use any number of 3rd party apps for that as well.

Welp, just pre-ordered one in gray @stephenkostas ! Hoping for a late July/early August delivery before my trip. I've been waffling on picking up a used DX160 to replace my dead Hiby R3, but decided to just splurge.
Nice! This is one I'm planning to pick up myself, but I'll let our customers get the pick of the first shipment before I get mine. I'm leaning towards the blue myself. It'll be replacing the red DX160 I've had for about 2.5 years now.

I've got a DX300, and it's possible to install EQ apps such as Wavelet and Poweramp, but I wasn't able to get them to work with all streaming apps - I recall that I got them to work for Spotify, but not Tidal or Amazon. I did all of the necessary ADB things, but the iBasso bit perfect audio stack implementation is too good :) At least UAPP works, as does the EQ in the built-in media player. I need to doo a bit more reading to see if there's any way to get EQ apps to work.

Thanks. Good to know. I have searched for info on PEQ on DAPs but haven't found any reviews that talk about that before. It was BGGAR that mentioned the PEQ for DX160 in a video, saying it used a LOT of resources and drained the battery pretty quickly. iBasso should give battery life more thought. Having a slim player isn't everything. I'd opt for one without wifi and streaming but then one couldn't install apps on it, right? I don't use streaming services as I don't listen to music and books all the time.

So I'm not sure about the battery use on the built-in EQ (I've used it but haven't done any testing specifically with the battery), but if you want to enhance the battery life, you can turn off wifi/bluetooth etc, run the battery saver mode (which throttles the system CPU and reduces screen brightness) and not install any apps other than the bare minimum that you need. Personally I use my player in my car, at my desk, or relaxing at home, and since it's always charging in my car, so battery life rarely occurs to me since I have chargers in all three places.

That said, it does seem like running a lighter OS improves the battery life, and the A&K players, which used a heavily stripped version of Android have slightly better battery life overall than the iBasso players. The mitigating factor there is that the A&K players tend to have slower processors and smaller screens for the money. So it's an all around trade-off between "I want a player that can do anything" like a Hiby or iBasso, and get a 10-12 hour battery life, or "I want a player that's literally just a player. period." and get 15-20 hours.

In the DX160 thread, I included the use of the AIMP for Android app in an impartial manner (in view of the current situation in the author's country), since the player has a 20-fold EQ, can play Internet radio, and is capable of DLNA so much fun. Maybe it will help one or the other in the decision-making process.

i assume on the dx170 you can download and stream via qobuz. but i don't see the google store app on the provided screenshots, so how would one download the qobuz app.
