Dx160 also had the option to switch between 1080 and 720 IIRC
Go to settings app than display than ResolutionWhere is the setting to go to 720p?
there are sooo many criteries. it's depends from you earphones mostly. seems they are very sensitive and with low Ohms. try to use 3.5mm output. balanced output produces the double power of 3.5mm outputCould I please ask other members what volume level you use the DX170 at? I have the gain set at low and use a 4.4mm balanced cable, but I cannot go any higher than 22 - not that it's a problem but I would be interested in others experience.
Did you try an OTG cable? Is it only me who have problems with USB DAC mode? I can't use it as USB DAC mode. I tried it on 2 macbooks pros (M1 and Intel chips).
I go to Mongo player -> Settings -> Advanced -> USB DAC (charged mode on or off) and connect the type-c cable (other 2 players works fine with that cable). laptops can't see the device as output. tried with cable first and then turn on the usb dac mode, with or without headphones attached to it.
P.S. firmware version is 1.01.227
TBH I don't have an OTG cable and I don't think I need it. Because all my devices can work as USB DAC with a general cable (Fiio K3, Fiio 11S, Fiio X5 ii). Only ibasso have some problems with connectivity. strange.Did you try an OTG cable?
For the PC did you install the driver from the ibasso site?even factory reset didn't work also tried on my PC and nothing. I think I will return the unit.
sure, but still nothing. For the PC did you install the driver from the ibasso site?
Does your PC show the driver is installed?sure, but still nothing.
yeap I know how to work with drivers. as I mentioned above, I'm software/hardware engineer the USB DAC mode just not working. tried on 3 different computers(2 macs and 1 pc) with 4 different cables including the original one from the box.Does your PC show the driver is installed?
