That's a combo I'm really looking forward to :) How does it compares to DX200 w/AMP4?
I put the AMP6 back on. I need to burn in everything. AMP6 sounds very good. I did try it on my DX200, lots of detail and layering. AMP4 on the DX150 has a little warmer sound and the very open sound that 4 is known for. Lots of power with either amps. Listening to Blnodie, Parallel Lines. Dynamic, solid bass lines, cymbals sound good and voice is not recessed and very present.

Need more time but the AMP1 is possibly flatter/reference in freq. The AMP6 gets out there and drives really good bass lines and moves you along with the music in a good way. Listening to some Hendrix live from 1969 on hi res, an excellent recording. Hendrix's voices comes across natural and full of life. Swirling tones from his guitar are very good.

Well i thought it has Mango mode but i was wrong, only Android mode. Its fine cus Mango mode is too laggy with dx200. Android mode on Dx150 is quite fast, no complaints. Tried Tidal hifi online and offline by downloading apk, no popping sound. AMP6 sounds like neutral/bright, details, big soundstage, good bass. Sometime it made my A18 harsh abit with some songs, but its ok.
Is this one thicker than dx200 or im wrong ?
Playing music for over an hour but dx150 is still cool. Thats great.

Why use mango mode in that case? What benefit does it offer?

Its just like a pure music mode. It sounds better than Android mode tiny bit. But i don’t care that mode cus lagging. I prefer Android mode over it. But i thought dx150 has 2 modes like dx200.....
Personally I don't think one can hear the difference but the placebo effect works wonders. Always nice to have a perceived improvement :)

I appreciate all the impressions that are started to be posted about this new unit

I am still trying to decide between N5ii vs R6 vs DX150

As more receive their devices, if anyone also had a N5ii I would love a side by side photo so I can see just how much larger the DX150 is

Thanks in advance

If you have BA Iems I would not advise R6 due to high output impedance

Is this all using the balanced out?

I have read about that. Thanks for the advice
I think you can use IEMatch to fix that.

This may help gauge the size vs DX150/N3. Looks like the DX150 is slightly larger than the N5ii.

Just received my DX150 this morning at work. Battery was at 82% so I put a 128G I had with me into slot and started playing. So far I am loving this AMP 6 with the AK4490 chip set. Very open and revealing. I'm listening SE with KZ ZS6 with upgraded cables.Fates Warning Darkness in A different Light Full album. Really similar sound to my AK300 (same chip(i think) only single DAC config. Mango mode only because there is no Play Store. Might just leave this one Mango only Filter 1, Low Gain. I think this is going to be a hit for Ibasso (IMHO). Super Kudo's to Paul and Team!
