Does the dx200 contain better quality clocks , resistors and capacitors than the dx150, in other words what other difference is between them, except for the sabre / akm dacs ?

Probably similar, but mainly differences should be the configurations that is needed from AKM vs ESS according to each chip specifications

Having trouble with my cell phone camera, but the case is a medium gray with sort of a faux suede finish. Pretty nice. There is a snap clasp on the top right corner to make it easier to remove the player from the case.

I too am in the same boat. I jumped on the R3 bandwagon and placed a order for it through Kickstarter. Now I’m also looking for a device to stream and store offline via apps, so I’m between N5ii or R6 or DX150. I was leaning towards the N5ii but all the technical issues I’m reading about have forced me to wait to see if they can be addressed w firmware updates.

The main advantage of the dx150 is that it is available direct from Ibasso now, without any of that pesky waiting involved that happens using kickstarter and the like.

It would be a small stack and more than likely a great sounding one, I have a lot of love for the Burr Brown DACS!

I want my DX200 to have a picturesque wallpaper like in DX150.

By the way, I have tried DX150 demo unit. It looks really nice and more metallic than DX200.

Leather case is also nicer that makes me so envy. Making me think to move hardware inside DX200 into DX150 body...

If you can handle the DX150's size and weight why not save up a bit more for the DX200?

How do burr brown dacs sound?

Of course its relevant to what's in your ears but BB DACs are very nutruel and clean and tube like sounding. Have you not heard any of iFI Audio gear? Absoulety one of the biggest bang for the buck gear out there.
