Seriously, I think we can draw a line thru this gadget till Feb at least, and possibly longer - when does the Northern 'Spring' actually arrive ? If you live in Maine, I get the impression that its sometime around mid-June, on a Wednesday.

We haven't had much of a winter yet. Never more than two inches of snow on the ground, only a handful of truly cold days.....of course I am quite happy about the lack of snow and cold.

nobody can tell you anything without trying it.

The reason I'm curious is my NFB12 as I understand it will not even drive an HD800 "reasonably well" (or so they tell me), and the NFB12 itself is a desktop unit costing $250, let alone media playing ability. I'm curious if "reasonably well" means it will be better than my NFB12 for example. Although like you said, I guess nobody knows until they try it.

Hi ac500 good to see you on the thread. Cool your jets my young friend right now we're all waiting on the final specs and first impressions from the guinea pigs ummm I mean early adapters. Subscribe and keep your eyes peeled for the future first impressions thread. Oh and so that you know iBasso is known for making good portable gear

Hopefully iBasso is just making updates to their website to sustain the number of hits once the DX100 releases.  It would be a shame if Head-fiers crashed the site just minutes from the release.
