Limited units! are they F@#$%, the ebayers will first get their hands on these "limited units" and you will see prices skyrocket to $1000-1400, until the "normal units",I hope not!!!!

That's if there are buyers willing to pay that much...

Its excellent IMO. Very neutral sounding with a very wide sound stage. I get the feeling things are happening on the side of me and down the hall with this DAP. Treble extends high and is crystal clear. Sub bass extends low and is well controlled. The mid range is in balance and is articulate. There are 2 firmwares which change the sound quality of this DAP and from the looks of it Jack will most likely release other flavors in the future. I really enjoy the Dynamic firmware with my IE80s. The fact that I can get this sound in such a small form factor is amazing. I use to stress out all the time about my Hifimans battery not lasting very long. I also tend to like to change my music a lot and since the UI is very easy to use its not a hassle and battery life is still long. Since owning this device I've charged it 3 times. The 3rd charge was from running it in for 2 days straight. Battery life will last a bit longer if I don't constantly run it for a couple days. Someone posted it lasted about 55 hours with FLAC playback and that is at 5 hour listening intervals and then letting the device rest. That's still very long for FLAC playback and I don't see any other portable player reaching that. Jack specifies it to run for 85+ hours with 128kbs music. I wouldn't run such low quality music on this player as it is too revealing.

Have you had any trouble with hissing on sensitive IEM's?

There is audible hiss on my IE80s and FX700. It's not so bad where it ruins the music for me. But it's audible when no music is playing and during very quiet passages. Let's just say that the music sounds so good that I am willing to tolerate it. Jack had just shipped me his golden impedance cable. So we shall see how that works.
