+1 many times over... Very well put Nirmalanow

If only more could follow this simple and respectful philosophy... In a forum for music and technology enthusiasts, it seems unnecessary that critiques on equipment should attract personal attacks. It spoils the humour and value of the mostly helpful information found here.

Let's be clear, I never attacked the maker of these devices personally.  Perhaps you're referring to another critic of these devices?

After turn DX100 off, I cannot turn it on again. even I plug in the powercord, still have no response. Anyone has this kind of problem? is it able to solve? or it is really dead? I used it only for few weeks!!!!!

Try to hit the reset button next to the micro SD slit I think. Or unless it is on the otherside? You need a needle or a paper clip to do this.

After switching the DX100 on, some media search/analysis happens. According to iBasso this is finished when a title appears in the standard player. This takes very long, about 40 minutes. I have filled the internal mem about 80% with music, the 64 GB SD-card the same. Is this normal or can I speed this up?

With that sort of data, it could take that long first time after updating data or remounting an SD card but if your music files are unchanged, it should take only a few minutes at most to check for changes. Is this 40 minute wait happening without any changes to your files or are you removing and reinserting your SD Card each time you boot?

In my experience the shipping from Ibasso is ridiculously fast - and I usually get the shipping notice a day or two after it arrives.

OK, thanks!  I'm trying to be optimistic.  It would be really great to not have to wait a long time, but at least no matter what the wait, I'll know it's worth it!

I have a balanced ready pair of T1 (S/N 8318) and I use it with the DX100. I can't say I have any issue driving it out of the DX100. The incredible details and soundstage are still there as compared when I use the t1 with a desktop amp. Perhaps, it's question of burn-in?

It's bogus. I tried in on my Nexus 4 & 7 and it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. Placebo at it's finest.

That's disappointing.  I was hoping it would provide at least some benefit.  Have you tried it on the DX100?
