I think this thread has lost its way a few too many times - maybe a reminder of the goal might be helpful?

I already have a 32gb card that I use in my Clip+ so I'll start picking out 96gb of FLAC goodness so I'll be ready for the DX100. Really having a hard time deciding on the first song I want to hear from it. Maybe "Comes Love" by Louise Rogers should have the honour? I bought the album in 24/192 and have used that track for testing tons of stuff so I know it inside and out. Very curious to see what the DX100 will make of it!

Just tried to purchase 'Tea For The Tillerman' from HDTracks and it won't allow me because I don't live in the right part of the world! How rediculous!

For fun, while my DX100 is away getting its oil changed, I have pulled from the garage, my covey of Discmans.

I have the D303, D777, D25 and D25s, D-421SP X2 and a D-451SP (the watersport one) and some others. Great fun. Only one cd at a time but they really do sound goooood. And, they all work! I adjusted the D303 pots so it no longer skips and is fairly motion resistant. :^)

The first song isn't gonna be its best. It's once you've used her and loosened her up a bit that things start getting good .

I don't get that. It is really good on Hi Rez.

Just got my tracking number too, though won't be picked up until tomorrow I think (not registering on Fedex).  I am in Hong Kong so it should be a short delivery (hell, I offered to go pick it up as their factory is less than an hour from where I live).  Hope to see it on Friday or Monday at the very latest.  Will be interesting to see if it will drive my Sony R-10's well.  Never thought of the R-10's as a portable headphone, but may make for the ultimate portable setup until I can get the JH3a.

It doesn't validate the address so just make up a US address or borrow one. That's how I buy from HD Tracks here in Denmark :)

Now that is something I would not mind having, even if I used them portable! I look forward to your impressions with the combo.

Walking the streets with a pair of R10s strapped to your head, and with a DX100 in your front pocket? That's obscene! (in an audiophile p0rn sense, I mean, which is a good thing!) hahaha

I bet that'll sound AWESOME!!
