Wait, did you ask for an update on the ETA or an ETA on the update?

One will be the same as the other & the other will be self fullfilling

Doeas the DX100 have the Stock google player installed?

My guess is that is is isolated to the "iBasso/Rockchip" Music player and nothing else which should technically be an APK fix not a complete OS overhaul.

Ibasso will sell you a spare charger for $5 - I ordered an extra with mine so I have one at home and one at work

"Hi,
Thank you very much for your suggesetions.
For the software problems, we can solve them by firmware update. We will release a new firmwae in this week, which will be more stable.
For the hardware suggestions, we cant do anything since the DX100 is already in production. But we will definitely take your suggestions into consideration if we have future DAP products.

Best Regards,
iBasso Audio"

I don't mind if they take their time with the firmware update because it seems they're actually using that time to make it better.

I really hope this firmware update finally gets rid of the popping sound that happens from waking the unit up- is it loud enough to damage IEMs?

I've been making sure to plug my IEMs in after, but I'd rather not because doing so is beginning to strip the rhodium plating off of my cable's oyaide connector.

Can't wait to see what improvements this may bring, do Ibasso release a changelog anywhere ?

I'll let you guys beta test as I dont want to lose this sound quality with the EQ issues on the previous versions. Im happy to accept some of the minor gliches at the moment.

Still absolutely floored by the combination of the DX100 and Heir 8.A... No matter what I throw at that rig it sounds awesome. The Köln Concert. No problem. Rammstein? Without breaking a sweat! Hans Zimmer's soundtrack to The Dark Knight Rises in 24/192 FLAC? Here, have some nice, crispy details sprinkled on top of that thundering bass while enjoying the choir.

James Taylor's track 'Gaia' (from the album 'Hourglass') sounds excellent through my UM Miracles on the DX100, and that's only a 44.1khz CD rip!
And Hans Zimmer's 'Gladiator' OST sounds absolutely fabulous through the UM Miracle + DX100 combo.

I'm really sad to see my DX100 go - I've sold it to cover medical costs, and it's leaving me today (SOB!!)

Cheers, shigzeo.

Nice to see iBasso continuing to develop the firmware - it's really the only serious downside to the DX100 - the hardware sounds fantastic
