@Turokrock: Different from the Sony WM-Z, this thingy has tons of caps onboard. You will need to give those caps enough time to mature.

100-200hours is a conservative estimate I suppose.

I know my dear, but I haven't read your quick, first impressions.

To those who own DX100, does the DAP come with the latest firmware on or we need to uptade it? Also do you think after 200-300 h burn in the pop sund will go or fade?
Many thanks,Levi

According to ibasso it should come with its most up to date firmware. It would be dumb for them to release the product as such when they told me they were gonna upgrade even my Device with the updated firmware.

Anyone to the help,please?
It seems I can only chose only one language in the keyboard, although I specified 2 languages in the language settings and no Chinese language was chosen, and the Chinese button is still showing in the keyboard. Thanks.

Did you get this sorted?

Hit the circle button to the left of the spacebar. Then choose Android keyboard under Select Input Method.

The Chinese button should disappear and you can slide the spacebar side-to-side to switch twixt your chosen languages.

I am listening to Muddy Waters, Fold Singer in 24/192 and it is an eye opener. I have had this for years and always admired and enjoyed the performance and recording but at 24/192, there is even more! Great stuff. Very 3D.

OK , I found the solution, for any who might face this problem with multiple language settings.
First open the keyboard, then keep pressing the Chinese character button in the Left side of the keyboard a menu will pop , 2 options elect input method and android keyboard settings, chose the select input method, then a Chinese written option and the android keyboard, chose the android keyboard..voila.

Just ran into a trouble - after copying additional files into my DX100, the music player simply won't load! It entered into a blank screen and the android error message kept popping up saying that the music player is not responding and ask if I want to 'End Task' or to 'Continue Waiting'.

I have rebooted the DX100 and everything but to no avail.
