Hi everyone. Wondering if anybody can help with my query?
I’ve plugged my DC03 into my laptop through the usb a port.
The DC03 purports to give you maximum 384kHz / 32 bit conversion.
I’m currently running Amazon Music HD, which when i’m playing ultra HD tracks shows that my device isn’t capable of playing them (screenshot included).
When i stick the DC03 into my IPhone SE i’m able to play them at a higher rate. Can someone explain what’s going on here?
Many thanks.

Hi . Yes the driver has been installed as pictured. The second picture shows a bit better the issue i’m having. As you can see, the track i’m playing at 24bit/96kHz can’t be played at that level as it’s saying the device doesn’t support it. Can anybody shed any light of the problem please?

I didn't have Amazon Music HD, but I tried 24/96 FLAC as well as DSD on the DC03 with JRiver, all without any issue. Yours is likely just a software / setting issue - I'll start by checking all the relevant sound driver if I were you. Also tried playing HD music from other app (you can download test tracks online, just google it) to check if it limits to AmazonMusic or not.

How was dc03 sound quality on jriver and dsd? Did it sound great compared to other competiting dongles?

Initial listening is very positive. Though I have heard there is an phase issue that required firmware update to fix, I have yet to be able to do so. I'll say it is definitely one of the better sounding Type-C adapters in my collection.
