So I got my hands on woodied Grado sr-225is and I'd like a DAC/amp to bring them up to full potential
I'm torn between the iBasso d2+ and the uDAC2; I often listen in bed and move around the house as well as listen at my computer so a portable amp seems like the best option, but if the uDAC will sound better it would save some money
If I get the D2+ I'll be feeding it with USB or Sansa Fuze->fiio L6 LOD
If I get the uDAC I'll be using USB or unamped from my sansa
There aren't many direct comparisons out there so I'd love to hear your guys opinion (preferably people that have heard both)
Oh, and don't recommend the D4, it's out of my price range.

P.S. do my preferred genres matter? They're in my profile

The uDAC is a great piece of kit.  It has a awesomely detailed sound, and is a rocking good DAC to use for the future if you ever get a larger, dedicated amp.
