Hi All,
Someone has tried to use iBasso D2+ Boa and Shure SCL5 (110 ohm) or Westone UM2 (27 ohm)?
Any feedback about this coupled?

please audition both sets and if u say um2s are complete crap then you're probably having a bad fit.
um2s are compared to shure e530/500 before W3s are out and reviews and impresions have a consensus that um2s are great.
You are probably a basshead if you think Um2 have no bass.

Due to the lower impedance Um2s will also be easier to drive and does not need an amp to have it working

um2 got a lot of bass and subbass, nothing else
shure e5 is the complete opposite

i got the shure e5 3 years, the um2 fit as ease as the e5

btw, if they didnt fit right they would lack everything but bass

im no basshead, k271, hf5, e5 owner, they are all no bassy phones

I've got myself a D2 Boa and a pair of UM2s. Since I'm entirely too lazy to write a big huge review comparing earphones, tips, and sources, I'll just say these few points:

-Something feels missing. Sometimes it's the midrange, sometimes it's the bass.
-Slightly bassier than the RE0, but loses out in other respects.
-The W3 was significantly superior, if coloured. You can keep your neutral 'phones though, I want natural.
-The D2 gives a slightly colder edge to the UM2 compared to the Sansa Clip. The effect is small.
-I used the E5's bass boost even with the UM2.

The UM2s were fitted with Shure black foams.
