Hey all - I have Senn IE8s and an iBasso D10 - the pair synergises really well and sound great. I might be getting a UM3x soon, I was wondering if anyone could comment on the D10+UM3x performance - and maybe compare it against IE8+D10. Thanks!

hmmmm, i think if you are going to compare the D10 + IE8 combo and D10 + UM3x combo is like comparing an apple with a pear. The IE8 is using a dynamic driver, while the UM3x is using a amature driver, both do have different sound characteristic, thus the combo sounding would not be nice.

I had tried them before, and i personally felt that the combo between UM3X and D10 is nicer, bass is much more controlled and the treble was not that piercing through!

UM3Xs + D10 (+modded triple flanges) = Good synergy.
I noticed good soundstage. Depends on source/music, It is natural and 3D like sound, well balanced. Yes, the treble is there but smooth and not too sharp to 'cut'/piercing my ears. Very relaxing and no stress to my ears.

i tried um3x on d10 stock.. sound is good.

but ibasso has RF problems. i am eyeing on something slim.... pico slim, rsa shadow, T3 if RF is ok. sorry to OT abit.
