Was using ER-4S for years, but just bought the SE530's. Big difference. I can barely turn the volume pot up before the volume is crazy loud. This could be dangerous. Does this annoy anyone else with this combo? Is there a way to reduce the gain on the D1? What's the best solution for this problem?

I did try using the Shure volume attenator but my first impression was it killed the SQ.
