I'm also really undecided in which player should I get - the X5L 30Gb or iRiver H340. I can get them for the same price.
The iRiver seems to have a bigger community support, and the extra 10Gb are nice. The X5 60Gb is way too expensive.
I really like the fact that the X5 has alarm clock feature, since I could connect ir to a pair of powered speakers, and have in my bedroom every morning
I will also need this DAP to download pictures from my Nikon D70, and it would be really nice that I could browse the photos (3000x2000px) as soon I download them from the camera(without resizing)
I'm splitting hairs here... can someone give good reasons for not going the iRiver way?
PS - Drag n' drop is mandatory, so iPod is out (as well as philips HDD6330 that I could get at a very good price
