Hi,
i just got my x5L player from amazon.
I am afraid that i got one which was sent out before. the plastic wrap was gone. the player was fully charged and firmware 2.07e was installed.
ok i can live with that.
my question:
whenever i turn on eq and some jet effects i get noise. i can hear it even when on pause . Volume over aprox 18.

i read a little on the forum and found some posts saying that jet effects do create noise.

iam using the stock ear buds atm and have no better here to try out.
when i turn off all effects the noise only starts at vol. 35 or more. but than it sounds a little bit flat.
is that a problem with jet effects or is the player faulty?

thought it over and called amazon.
the replacement device is on the way. with precise instruction to send me a sealed device. good thing is i can wait sending back the player i have until the replacement is here.
