iAudio X5 file format question:

Can the X5/X5L play mp4/m4a files encoded in iTunes?
If someone has one and doesn't know, a quick test will make a purchasing decision for me and would be greatly appreciated.

No. There are very few players besides the iPods that play AACs. The X5/X5Ls equivalent would be Ogg Vorbis encoding.
