I just got an X5L today, and my brother just ordered the M5 off of Newegg.com. We're both going to order some zCovers. I had a similar case with my H120 and they protect the player very well.

Z cover is excellent . I have been using it for a while with my X5 , except for the small dust and lint it attracts , which is fairly obvious on black color.

Yeah, the one I had with my H120 was really nice, and the lint isn't even that bad. You can always run in under the sink (without the player of course
) and give it a quick dry...voila! Clean zCover

I got the grey for that reason (less lint showing) but I've ended up regretting that choice as the case makes the X5 look like a lump of clay. Since I usually just drop the player I'm using into a coat pocket or in a utility pocket on my backpacks, it can pick up quite a lot of fluff. On the positive side, the zCover's really well moulded. All the holes line up great and there are some nice detail touches.
However I like using the cradle instead of the precarious subpack, so the Noreve Tradition which makes it really easy to take the X5 out of the case (and put it back in) seemed like the best choice for me. I did get a good look at the iAudio leather case with the white stitching and that seemed pretty darned ugly to me. Lord knows why they used white thread... it shows off the uneven stitching really well.
