How do you think the D2 compares with the upcoming Clix2? I'm buying a new DAP soon, but I'm not in enough of a rush to have to have one now.

Any input would be much appreciated.

i honestly haven't read enough about the Clix2. i assume it's just a nicer looking clix with bigger capcity? honestly, as nice of a DAP as it was, i didn't like the directional thing. it just go to be too much. but it does have ID3. I REALLY don't like filetree.

i actually think the W10 is more comparable to the D2.

I'm holding out until 128 GB SSD drive is in a DAP and is affordable enough.

i think it means it will read the tags when playing the song, not for browsing.

the iAudiophile videos do not use ID3, from what I can tell.

You're right and i do not think it would be possible by future firmware upgrades...

Even if 199$ for 2G seems pricey, D2 is worth that price for sure

Played with the D2 at CES. Impressed.

- Small.
- Good build quality.
- Slick GUI.
- Innovative touch-screen interface.
- Excellent sound quality (hey, it's Cowon).

Cowon reps said it's their most successful product launch yet - in Korea. They shipped 300 units to the American branch, about a week ago.

2 of the staff at DAPreview have one now, so we'll get some reviews out eventually.
