What do you people think about this MP3 player? Anyone getting one?

I've owned the U2, X5L, and iAudio5 models in the past. My experience with all of those players was very pleasant, but it was never quite what I was looking for.

This newest model looks very good (the iAudio6 used a microHD, which is slow and clunky in my opinion.) The new model uses flash, which is much faster and more efficient. Rockbox will probably be ported to it eventually, although there's really no need since Cowon supports lossless audio anyway.

I would buy it if I needed a DAP.

All players that have a volume control and headphone jack have a built-in amp.

they are built in headphone amps

i guess you're thinking higher power or better quality amps. iaudio is pretty well regarded for their sound quality, though.

Anyone heard it or compared it already? 16gb would be just enough for me, but then It has to sound significantly different from the Iaudio D2.
Edit: wait a sec... not released yet. : / Well let me know sometimes.

So 8GB Flash, a decent headphone out, great battery life and FLAC support and no one thinks it might be a contender?

I for one am VERY interested in this little DAP. If i was in the US or could find a store to ship to me out here I would be trying it. But circumstances say I will have to wait a couple months to purchase one for myself.

So in the mean time what do you, the experts, think?
