iRiver IFP 795

Pros

It can go louder than the iAudio 5 ( 18 mWs@16 ohms vs 13 mWs)

It has 2x the battery life of the iAudio 5

It can display lyrics for the songs its playing.

It has good SQ.

Cons

It is not plug and play(at least not with out a firmware update)

It does not playback .WAV

It only supports WMA up to 192kbps.

P.S:I do not have an iAudio 5 so i do not know much about.

Just keep in mind that iRiver has bad customer support.
I emailed them a simple question and they took about a week to respond.

Does the 795 only come in a 512 MB model? I didn't see a 1GB player but I might have been overlooking it.

Ah, thanks gshan. I've been focusing on the iAudio players lately, so forgive my ignorance.

yeah. their email support is incredibly slow. but once you get past that or their phone support, getting a RMA and a replacement is really quick (atleast with iRiverAmerica)
