Yeah, restrictive licensing it really just voluntary DRM.

That is why I still refuse to buy Apple products. I want to be able to drag and drop and to be able to use third party software. Also when I buy music it is mine. 
 
Digital music on your P.C. is fine but I prefer my CD-player set up from the 'olden days' and in time will venture into vinyl.
