I'll admit, this is absolutely nothing - so get ready to not be amazed.
anyway I was thinking of how painfull my hd202's were to wear so I tried unwrapping cotten balls and stuffing them around under the pads to get more distance, and less ear smashing. So I accedentally made a mod that enhanced the bass of an already bassy headphone

Actually I noticed that the treble stood out a little more too. I think it sounds better as well as being more comfortable in addition to just the subwoofer effect. I cant be sure though as I'm a noob.
From what I can tell so far it enhanced the bass and treble, and recessed the mids. This could be good for high noise environments I guess. Its really easy, so if anyone who has a better ear is bored you could try it and post the difference you noticed.
They are much more comfortable though, which was my original point.
