I'm still using my 1st gen Nano and find it to be small and reliable. Only issue is the limitde amount of space...

I have a 4G ipod 20gb and E500's with a Tomahawk but I too want a smaller portable setup but I can't pull the trigger to get a 3G nano 8GB. Hopefully Apple is going to release a larger capacity nano-16GB? Ipod touch does not really interest me and with all the models out I feel I may be waiting for awhile.

Ended up getting Sony A818 because of the good price...so far a bit harsh on the upper end, but waiting on custom cables and then I'll post pics, impressions etc.

cool! The sony is a really nice player. I had the chance to use it at a meet, and I was impressed. The case is almost bigger than the player.
