Here's what i want.
 
The sound quality of the sr225i headphones.
 
The low power requirement of the sr225's, ie running off my sansa fuze.
 
The price range of the 225's, $200.00
 
Call me vain, but i want the look of a more modern can.
 
I'd actually prefer a closed can.
 
Is there a headset that will fit all my needs?

Read up on the Audio Technica ES7 / ESW9. I like my ESW10's as much as the RS1 I had, it's a bit more mellow but has the same kind of natural musicality people love in the RS1. ESW9's should be pretty close but a little less pretty and a little warmer FWIR.
The ES7 is less refined but with bigger bass and a bit more shouty highs, it's the most like a closed Grado.

Definitely ESW9s or ES7s.

I can't speak for the SR225i, but my ES7 sounded very different from my Grado-like Alessandro MS1is.... I vastly preferred the former.
