dont even bother with SR40s... The mids are horribly harsh/honk-ey and resonant in that plastic earcup and the cable sucks.

Spend the extra ~$30 and get SR60s.

Only after extensive mods do the SR40s become worthy of the Grado name.
IMHO of course...

I would sell my SR-60's but I am still waiting for someone to trade me ER6's for them
