I was listening to the Life Aquatic OST through my PortaPro2 and Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro when I noticed popping in certain tracks. I remembered BlessingX's post about his TBAAM being defective and I thought, "uh oh, did I get a lemon?" But the popping and clicking only happens on certain track, so I played it again through my CD player and the pops/clicks are still there. Upon further listening, I noticed some clipping when Seu Jorge hits the high notes. Can anyone with this soundtrack confirm this? It's a shame the recording is such horrible quality. It really is a very good soundtrack.

I agree TBAAM is excellent especially for the price, enjoy it immensely. My understanding is TBAAM does not normally need amp to drive the headphone. Have u tried without amp?
