When listening to music sometimes I hear like random knocks(of cours probably in the music I just never really pay attention to those sounds or it comes across differently) or even just possibly just like something random that makes me twitch or look around to where the sound was supposedly heard and see nothing. Does this ever happen to you guys? You know the whole I THOUGHT I heard something sort of feeling but its usually nothing.

Yeah... I hate that. Its really bad on live recordings with my RS1 and MDR-EX90, where you hear voices and stuff off in the distance.

*edit*
I guess its a good thing, your headphones are revealing a very high level of detail and accurately thrusting those sounds far off into the distance.

I hear things like that also. I listen to my music and think i hear my phone, knocks on doors, and creeks and other sounds that make me look around like there is someone or something there.

This is called acúfenos in spanish, do not know the medical term in english (acuphens?). It is related to tinnitus. They are strange noises that your brain can interpret like common noises (buzzing, whistling, bells, telephone ringing, crickets, birds singing, doors slamming, etc). You should visit a doctor if this phenomenon is constant, very frequent and of high volume, enough to disturb you. Somebody said to me that it has been calculated that 25% of population suffer this problem to some extent. It can be caused by an illness or even stress. If you only hear these noises sometimes when you are listening music, I think is normal. I hear phones ringing with certain music. Our ears/brains are not perfect
