Was just looking and saw someone has an HP2 up for sale on the evil auction site for under $1k. I am in no way affiliated with that person and would love to have a pair of those but my pockets do not run that deep. Sure someone here will be enjoying them soon.

I believe I have actually seen that particular pair here on Head-fi before.

First off, with shipping it's over $1000.

Second, it's got more than 5 days left. Any comments on the price of an auction with more than 2 hours left are worthless, since that's the only time 99% of bidders (myself included) do anything.

Other than that, seems legit.

it does seem legit, since the amp that goes with it is listed right after. and at a reasonable $99 to start with no reserve (for the amp i mean), it's worth taking a flyer.

No pads though? Of course buying pads would be pennies on the dollar for this kind of money but with shipping that makes it ~$50 more...

yeah, the no pads and missing screw was on auction a month or two ago...don't remember if it was the auction that got one member reamed for some silly remarks he made...

IMO the hp-2 isn't worth $1K...
