Oh hello!
smile_phones.gif

I recently did some renovating to my current recording setup and would like to gauge the quality. I've already bugged the Dickens out of my friends, so I come to you (on bended knee) asking for assistance.
I'd like to record an audiobook in the next few months and wanted to get an idea of how my fidelity is.

Here's a clip. It's still in the early stages, so any advice you guys could dole out would be invaluable. Equipment/software to acquire and such.

Thanks for listening!

Sounds loud and clear.

Probably you can make another example, with a silence just to check if there's background noise.

Do you have it set up to remove pauses or something? It sounds like you're reading unnaturally fast, i personally found it distracting.
Sound quality-wise, everything sounds pretty good.
