I am looking for a new pair of full sized, over the ear headphones for $200 or below. Requirements are that they have to be extremely bass heavy, and that's about it. I currently own a pair of xb500's and I just want more bass.

ive heard good things about them. do you know how they compare to dt770 pro 80/32, xb500, crossfade lp1, custom one pro, q40? emphasis on the custom one pro and q40[possibly paired with portable amp].

A good over the ear headphone that has good bass, for under $200, would be the ATH-M50x.

i mean a lotttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt of bass. as much as i can get for the price. and to be specific, qaulity over quantity, but still needing to be heaps and heaps. basically if the bass is not literally vibrating my face while im listening to dub, hip hop, rap etc, i dont want them

how does it compare to custom one pro, crossfade lp/lp2 and q40+amp/

Not quite sure, but sans an audition, your best bet would be to check out the review section.

The V-Moda Crossfade LP/LP2 in fact any crossfade will not have as much Bass as the Sony XB series. The XB series has the most bloated bass of any headphones I've ever listened to :/ I don't know how you'd get more bass other than strapping a 40" sub to your head...

so i have heard of the xb950ap and the xb950bt, do you know how these would compare to the xb500's? im almost set on the mdr-xb950 bluetooth model and its currently only $160 on amazon. i just really really liked the custom one pro's due to the fact that you can customize the bass and the sound, but i dont think that the beyers could even come close to the new xb950's.

lemme know

thanks
