I have purchased a set of Grado's 225i's
I am looking for my sound setup now,
I am strictly using these headphones for DESKTOP computer use, and my sources are anything form mp3's to FLAC's to AVI to MP4's to MKV's files.
As of right now,
I have in my possession from another computer in my household a SoundBlaster XFI USB sound card model #SB1095
I am looking to buy a Bravo Audio V2 Class A 12AU7 Tube Multi-Hybrid Amp and doing a Tube Swap to a JJ ECC82
Would these two units be ideal for one another?
Should i change my Amp to something else? (i like the price point of that Amp and im fairly fond of the tube sound)
I am a super newb when it comes to this aspect of audio,
- first set of decent headphones,
- first headphone amp
So please be patient
Thank You in advance
*additions,
My Motherboard now is
Z77 MPOWER
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z77-MPOWER.html
And my on board audio is
Realtek HD Audio
Chipset integrated by Realtek® ALC898
And i have changed my sample rate to 24bit, 192000 Hz (studio Quality)
