So here's the deal... I have my PC connected to an AVR via an ATI Radeon 4800 with HDMI. It has been updated to the latest firmware which now uses an ATI audio driver, however unlike the old Realtek driver I used to use, this one will only playback audio the way it was designed and only the way it was designed.
Therefore I an no longer getting any LFE from my subwoofer from MP3s or other stereo content. So are there any MP3 players or plug ins that will enable support for my subwoofer with stereo content? With the Realtek driver the only way I could get my subwoofer to work with stereo content was by enabling "Speaker fill" (which basically matrixed sound to all of my spekaers) and "Center/Sub swap". I'd rather not do the whole 5.1 matrixing thing again, I just want 2.1...
