Then its prolly gonna be DT770 vs D5000 vs HD..600...or not,

D5000 are not portable and HD600 are really open and requires BETTER AMPING than your ibasso can handle...
Do you even read about the headphones before you ask about them?

why not try to get a pair of Audio Technica ATH esw10jpn?

I read a lot about all of them. None seem to be a good fit. Either they're bright and closed portable or they're warm open and not portable. You said the ESW10 were a waste if u werent into classical.

yea, but if you consider HD600 to be what you are looking for, then the esw10jpn is better imo, but I would not recommend either..
What about IEMs? The IE8 sounds like a match for you

I haven't thought too much about IEMS, I'm not sure what you can get them for used, but having to buy something before hearing it, sucks. Then again, there are those wannabe wannabe audiophiles on Finn:p
