Nope, I got home from work today but no email confirming shipment. I'll try calling tomorrow morning. Who knows, maybe they shipped already.

I had the chance to upgrade to 501s so that's what happened. They should be in Mon. The description of the 401s make them seem more suitable for rock, but I decided to try some Grados later.

Listening to the 501s should be interesting since all I have been using for the past few months is an 8/AA powered JMT and an HD580. Expectations are neutral. My guess, based on comments and reviews, is that they are both competing for the same space.

I use the 501 in my bedroom with a Cambridge Audio CDP and an Earmax Pro. Next to my Stax, they are my favorites-above even the Senn HD600s. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do!
