My mom was shopping at Wal-Mart to buy cheap cd players to bring for my relatives when we go on vacation in the phillipines, and she brought home some 12 dollar Durabrand CD-56s.
Blah blah blah, the included headphones sound pretty crappy, and with my ety er-6s they have tons of static overpowering the music... but what's this?
It has line out.
I ran the etys through my supermini through the line-out and there was no static, and there was a crapload out of the headphone jack leading me to believe it's real, but then again I don't know anything about these things.
It sounded pretty damn good to my ears, but then again it's a relatively bad headphone/amp setup.
Does anyone want to go to wal-mart, buy one for 12 dollars, and test it out?
It seems like a pretty damn good deal...
Worth a shot, and if it's real they have other, slightly more expensive players. (read: 20 dollars

EDIT: I found a crappy bass boost option and that didn't affect the line-out either.
