Hi all!

I am interested in this pocket pc :

I-Mate JAM

I currently use an ipod but things are getting a bit hard to manage that with
a phone and I have always wanted a pocket PC.

The I-Mate Jam is about the size of an Ipod except it has a large colour
screen. So it would be like having a ipod photo, phone, pocket pc so i
can play back dvd backup movies or mess with PC application on the go.
I think it will be ages till Apple will release anything like this.

But what i would like to know is... how does it sound?
It will need an adapter in order for me to use my Sennheiser HD-1's.

Is the sound quality comparable to an ipod?

For a while I was quite keen on the O2 XDA 2i , but it's way too big...
I'd feel too embarassed to use it as a phone,
The screen is lovely ... reminds me of my Sony PSP.

The following links are to the same device except it's be rebadged :

Does anyone know when O2 UK will actually stock it?
I am currently with them and would like to upgrade rather than take a
single hit and buy the device off-line.

Cheers, Yasmin

i used to have the 02 xphone2. the xphone2 and o2 mini are made by the same taiwan company called HTC (http://www.htc.com.tw/). the sound from my xphone is pretty good for a mobile phone. you could download Betaplayer, which is freeware. it has a lot of equaliser options and is much better than the one that comes with pocket pc.
