v6 is a right choice, that's my second headphone, i love it very much too. i don't know what kind of music you favor. at the begining, i did love the heavy metal and hard rock very much, but now jazz and pure music is my favorite. i perceived that v6 can be fit for most style of music(and DVD), not like my other cd2000, something heavy or groove can not be performance so "megabass"

7506 sounds pretty good for me, it sounds good without amp which is what I like the most.
