Hey all !!

Friday I was recording Gregorian Chant at Brasília Benedictine Monastery and guess what: I was using my mix monitoring out feeded to the Penguin Amp driving my Ety 4 both as my tracking monitor. I've have had so many applications for this little *big* amp.

Thanks JMT

I recieved mine back in December. I use it with Sr-80's and a Sony DEJ-725. I like it a lot. It seems to even the sound out a bit more, and the bass is nicer.
Thank you as well JMT!

From JMTaudio.com:
Quote:

The "MINT” amp is an ultra small amp that was designed using the META42 circuit. The MINT board measures 2” x 4” and is small enough to fit inside an Altoids or Penguin mint tin. All of the chips are surface mount chips and is biased using current regulating diodes. I configure it as follows:

Based on the quote I guess it's a META42 (not 100% sure though.)

I gotta get one of those small amps one day

Hey Ari,

He sure makes some great amps doesn't he. My first DIY headphone amp was a bday gift: JMT CHA47 penguin mint (same tin as in yours) with what looks like the same mini to mini. Archeologists will find it one day after a deep excavation.
