I just got back from the audiologist. He was a very cool guy. He is a musician and knows all about custom IEMs. He was so nice, he did my impressions for free! Anyways, here they are, about ti get shipped to Ultimate Ears.

Now I just need to decide on a color. I would love to see pics of your UE's, so I can see the differences.

Thanks

I like the clear as well, I am just not sure about the other options, as I have not seen that many.

Thanks for the reply

One of the guys at UE has a pair of black UE-10's, and they are very cool IMO. Blue translucent looks great as well. I'd stay away from 2 color swirls, as it's hard to get consistent results.

I've always wondered if clear custom earphones went yellow-ish at the stalk part due to wax, like what the Shure clear sleeves do after a couple of months. Not that i'm intending to get custom earphones or anything. If I was to get some i'd probably go with black or maybe clear (if they don't go yellow-ish).

This board must be the only ones where people get a kick out of showing other people the insides of their ears

Possédé, most nylons absorb some moisture over time. In the ear, this will include body oils. That's why you get the tinting over time. Nice, eh?

Well, if you really want them, trust me, suddenly you will feel you had the money.
