I'm in your price range, I use the Aune T1 with the HD600s. The Aunie is an unusual hybrid DAC/Amp because it has a tube buffer on the DAC rather than the amp. It allows you to use tube rolling to effect the sound. I use the Amperex 7308 which is a pretty expensive tube but sounds great for the types of music I listen to. The SS amp portion of this is pretty basic but works fine with the HD600s. A number of people who use this DAC/Amp upgrade the Amp when they can afford it and keep with the DAC. So far, I've stuck with the built in amp. When finances are better I will probably go with a Schiit tube amp perhaps the Valhalla while keeping the Aune as a DAC.
