I got a pair of Philips SHE3590 for 9.99 and a pair of Klipsch S4 for 29.99(which were originally around 80 dollars). I honestly think the Philips might sound better and I'm considering taking back the Klipsch. What are your thoughts on the two pair I mentioned?

I would not be surprised, as the Philips go with your preferences. If anything, return the S4 and get another pair or two of the Philips.

I didn't really like the S4's too, they seem overpriced.

The only thing keeping me from returning them right away is the soundstage. The klipsch do a decent job with that. Sound quality though I would say the philips is much better.
