My dad has a Teac PD-325 and a Quasar CR 19. The only thing that I have for CD listening is my less than desirable RCA stereo. I also like the idea of being able to play my mom's old records on the Quasar, but is it worth the hassle? Also, would the Teac be suitable for listening to CDs through my amp or would I need a DAC as well? It just has a line out. Thanks a lot guys. I drool over your systems every day and can't wait until I have some income to work on my own stack.
-EDIT-
They are both in working condition.

Eh, not so much. If someone told me what to change, I could do it. However, picking out parts would be something that I could not do on my own.
